On the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2026, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt appreciation to the entire teaching fraternity across the country.
Today, as the world of education is transforming rapidly, the essence of teaching remains timeless. Across Kendriya Vidyalayas, our teachers continue to serve the cause of education with dedication, commitment and an unwavering spirit
Shri Varun Mitra
Deputy Commissioner, KVSRO(Delhi)
In an era of rapid technological advancement and unprecedented change, education is much more than the acquisition of knowledge; it is the nurturing of character, creativity, competence and compassion. KVS RO Delhi, with its unwavering commitment to excellence, continues to illuminate the path towards a progressive, inclusive and enlightened India. Kendriya Vidyalayas have always been vibrant centres of learning, discipline, diversity and national integration, where academic excellence goes hand in hand with sports, arts, culture, technology and life skills. Our endeavour is to nurture confident, compassionate, resilient, responsible and future-ready citizens. In keeping with this vision, our schools must become spaces where children question, explore, experiment, collaborate and create. Technology should serve as an enabler of learning, while teachers remain the guiding force who inspire young minds to transform knowledge into wisdom and aspirations into achievement. Teachers are the architects of the future and torchbearers of transformation. Their continuous professional development, innovative pedagogy and commitment to every learner are essential for realizing the objectives of NEP 2020. As we march towards the vision of a Viksit Bharat, let us pledge to make every Kendriya Vidyalaya a centre of creativity, character and capability, where every child discovers their potential and every teacher is empowered to inspire transformation. Let us join hands with conviction, collaboration and commitment to create an educational ecosystem where every learner can flourish, every talent can find expression and every dream can find a direction. I wish a bright, successful and fulfilling future to all the students who are building their dreams and shaping their future in the enriching learning environment of KVS. May they continue to learn, grow, excel and contribute meaningfully to the nation. Jai Hind !

Anita Singh
Principal
As one amongst you, I understand and appreciate the most difficult and challenging task ahead of us. Shaping the destiny of a child is a matter of great pride for each one of us. The main object of education is the establishment of a twofold harmony in every individual's harmony within his own self and harmony with other living beings in the world. So our goal has always been the personality enrichment through curricular and co-curricular activities. Teaching is much more than a career or a profession. It (teaching) is the most onerous responsibility of moulding and shaping a child into a responsible citizen. I am certain my students will become productive, Intelligent and honest citizen of society. The active participation and co-operation of parents would be extremely essential to achieve the desired results. We strive with in-dominate zeal to seek fresh vistas of excellence so as to enable our students to become self-restrained and come out with flying colors in the present age of competition. Best Wishes, Anita Singh Principal
